Brentford sign Jamie Smith

Despite the fact that the transfer window has closed for League clubs Martin Allen has used the loan market to make one necessary addition to his squad before this weekends important game at the white rock stadium.

With experienced defender Kevin O'Connor thought to be out for up to a month with injury Allen has dipped into the market to sign Jamie Smith a right back from Bristol City.

In a short message to the official website Martin Allen,

"With the injury to Kevin it has left us short in that area"

The deal is believed to be initially for a month and he added,
