At around 2pm today the boss announced the he has added to his squad the blues Joe Keenan who spent last year playing in Belgium.
The deal is initially a one month loan with a view to a month by month extension if necessary and the boss said,
"He is a welcome addition because of the injury to Ricky, also Jay has been called up by Ireland Under 21's next week and will miss the Port Vale game on monday"
Keenan is yet to start a Premiership game under Jose Mourinho but has featured in the squad in Premiership, Champions League and Carling Cup matches.
