Scott Fiztgerald dipped into the transfer market again this morning by completing the signing of Southend defender Che Wilson on a one month loan deal.

The player who had a significant role in Southend's promotion from League One last season, has failed to featured as a regular in a struggling Shrimpers team this season and has decided to join Brentford in their fight against relegation to get regular first team action.

Fizgerald is believed to have been a fan of the player, having seen him represent Southend's youth and reserve teams last season.
Boss Steve Tilson said,

"He's not been playing for us this season so it's good for both parties."

"I can't fault his attitude in training when he's not been selected and I hope the experience at Brentford will help him."
