A busy day for the league at they announced four sets of fixture lists
Even though pre season for most teams doesn't start till the beginning of next week or the week after, managers, players and clubs a like can now begin preparation of tactics and systems as the new League fixtures were announced this morning.

The first weekend see Brentford facing a home game against last seasons League Two promoted club Scunthorpe, being followed by a game away to Chersterfield the next sunday and then another away trip to Port Vale.

Our next game comes against League One favourites Tranmere followed by a trip to Yorkshire where we didnt perform last well for a game against Barnsley.

The heavy Christmas schedule sees us up against Tranmere (A), Swansea (H), Doncaster (A) and Colchester (H).

The run in towards the play off sees Brentford at home to Blackpool, a team who did the double over us last season followed by a trip to Swindon a home game to losing finalists Hartlepool finishing off away to 7th place Bournmouth.

Relegated Nottingham Forest start against Huddersfield, Hartlepool start against Bradford and new boys Southend start at home to Port Vale.

As we've spoken about before matches may change because of cup runs or TV schedules, but any changes can be found out on this site.

(Please note: Under football League regulations this website is not permitted to display a full fixture list for the coming season. Legally we are not allowed to even provide a link to one, any showing of a full list leaves footymad.net open to legal action so it would be apreciated if we could avoid this! Thanks)
