Dissapointed at his sides naivety during their 2-2 draw with Oldham at Griffin Park this weekend, Scott Fitzgerald told the official website that he expects his players to shape up or face a future on the sidelines.

The Oldham result left Brentford with a mountain to climb, four six points behind the team closest to them and sitting second bottom in the League with some tough games coming up. Fitzgerald said it was time for his players to perform,

"On Sunday we got the performance for 86 minutes but not the result."

"We need to learn to be less naive as if we don't we will pay the ultimate price."

Fiztgerald also warned his players they needed to step up if they want a future at Griffin Park,

"The ones who take my words on board will stay, the others will go."

Following a return from an almost year long absense Lloyd Owusu has made two appearences in the last two games and admitted frustration at the clubs current plight,

"It's been hard for me to sit and watch."

"When I came back I looked at what I can offer and I hope to do that in the last few games of the season."

The striker remained confident that Brentford will be playing League One football next year and said,

"We're confident in our own ability and now is the time to show that we are not giving up."
