New Brentford striker John Akinde will be added to the squad after joining on a one-month loan from Bristol City.Manager Andy Scott has almost a full-strength squad with keeper Nikki Bull (shoulder) the only injury absentee.

Gillingham will be without striker Jacob Erskine (ankle) and defenders Garry Richards (conjunctivitis) and Simon King (ankle).

Striker James Walker may make his debut after joining earlier this week following his release from Southend.

As Gillingham prepare to face the Bees, Tranmere and Yeovil, manager Mark Stimson told BBC Radio Kent:

"Last year they won our league [League Two] comfortably, it will be tough.

"No disrespect to the three teams but if we were facing Norwich, Leeds and Charlton they would be very difficult - these are hard but ones we are confident of getting something from."
