Brentford's bad form continues at Bees lose friendly to Wycombe

As a good weekend for Allen celebrating his birthday went sour yesterday after a 1-0 loss and his sending off during the game against Port Vale, Allen would have hardly been pleased to see a 'reserve' side put in a lacklusture performance today against Wycome at the training ground.

The team featured regulars Tillen, Gayle, Keenan and Fitzgerald but still went down 4-2 with Fitz and Gayle scoring goals for Brentford.

Adrian Whitbread was in charge of the squad today and said,

"We thought this game would be beneficial for those who had not played much first team football so far this season. It wasn't a terrible performance but needless to say the result wasn't satisfactory specially as we had the lead for a period of time."
