Brentford-Wycombe walk 2007

Last updated : 06 September 2007 By Beesmad
A number of loyal Brentford supporters are walking to Wycombe for Sunday's game. This is aimed at highlighting the club's current financial difficulties, with the hope that contributions might be made by fans along the journey to help the club continue to move in the right direction.

The walkers will be setting off at 3.30am Sunday morning from Griffin Park in time to walk the 26 miles to Wycombe Wanderer's Adams Park ground with a view to arriving around 1pm on Sunday.

It goes without saying that BeesMad wish all those who take part in the walk the very best of luck and hope they all get to the game and back safely.

Please, if you have nothing else to do at 3.00 am on Sunday morning (other than snoring) why not jog along and join in the walk for the future prosperity of Brentford Football Club.

The organiser of this event goes by the name of Owlsmoor Bee and is a regular poster on the Beesotted website. Many thanks to all involved with the event.
