Butcher brings in tenth new signing

Terry Butcher has made his tenth signing of the Summer this afternoon by securing the loan services of Sheffield United Defender Ben Starosta.

Starosta, who wore the number two shirt in last Wednsday's friendly against Reading and played again last night against Chelsea, joins Brentford on loan until the first week in January.



The 20 year old Sheffield United player, was formerly an attacking winger and supplier of dangerous crosses but lately has developed as a competent defender.

The Bees ten signings so far are: Simon Brown, Grant Basey (loan), Sammy Moore (loan), John Mackie, Craig Pead, Lee Thorpe, Alan Connell, Glenn Poole, Gary Smith and now Ben (loan).
