It was fiairly well documented in circles relating to the football club that the club itself and most of it's employees didnt handle the ticketing situation for the Southampton cup replay very well.

Since day one of his job Andy Finch has been aiming to improve conditions within the club and conditions for the fans coming into the stadium. His plans have culminated in the club updating the charter and agreeing to let nothing like last seasons farce over tickets happen again.

Andy Finch today said,

"It was clear to everyone that the charter was in need of review and many supporters including representatives of BU and Bias echoed my thoughts within the first week of me joining the clib. The Southampton ticketing issues emphasises in everyones mind that a clear and obvious order of ticket selling priorites is necessary."

He continued,

"Therefore in all situations where a high exected demand for tickets versus a modest supply will lead to a game being defined as an 'ALL PRE SOLD TICKET GAME'"

Other issues were also discussed in the charter, such as a higher frequancy of kit changes and an improvement to facilities in and around Griffin Park, both are mentioned in the document which can be found on the official website.
