Supporters of Brentford Football Club voiced their opinion outside the ground yesterday as they held a protest to demand that Leroy Rosenior be ousted from his position as manager.

Though Greg Dyke and the chairman have insisted that the decision was theres and theres only, several fans voiced their opinion today that after just six months in charge, the right decision was made to look for a new manager,

"I think the board have been very honest in their assesment. We could all see that no progress was being made on the pitch and Rosenior had to leave in order for anything to change." said Shane Long a 22 year old Bees fan,

"16 games without a win doesn't lie, we were poor under him and I think it was most definately time for a change."

These views were echoed by supporters who took part in the protest yesterday who told me,

"We started well but since we've been in the rut, things have just got worse. I can't see us scoring a goal, let alone winning."

Another said,

"As far as I'm concerned the buck stopped with the manager. If the players arent performing on the pitch, it's his fault. I'm glad he's gone."

Some other supporters were a little more sympathetic to Rosenior, Sue from Kent said,

"I feel sorry for Leroy in a way. He tried to do things the right way but nothing seemed to be going in our favour."

Martin, a West Country Bees said,

"I travel to Griffin Park for every game and there just hasn't been that magic there at all since Rosenior took over. I'm not blaming the manager but he seems to take most of the flack, it's time the players started justifying themselves as professional footballers and stood up to be counted."
