As reported already Brentford are still looking for £150,000 to keep their club afloat over the next week. This money guarantees fans the chance to own their own club for the first time.

The message from Bees United Chairman Brian Burgees was one of honesty and will have sent the chill out to many die hard Bees fans who don't wish their club to go out of business. Burgees made a plea tonight for any weathly Bees supporters to come forward and provide the fuunds so they and the trust can open talks with the board and shareholders next week.

Bees United require the money to take over the 60% majority shareholding in the club from Ron Noades by the end of January, the chairman warned that the reality is that the Bees are desperately running out of time.

"The fat lady is signing" said Burgees,

"If we haven't recieved the pledges when she stops, the referee wil shows us the red card and supporters will lose this historic chance to own the club"

"We have to have written pledges this week to demonstrate that Bees United will have the funds for the shareholders to approve the deal and for the auditors to be satified the club could remain solvent for the twelve months after the take over."

Burgees however warned,

"This is where the money comes in. Only if we are sure the money is available will we be able to complete the takeover."
