Fitz pleased with showing

Though he may not have been the most pleased of managers at the weekend, the result when taken in context for Brentford was an excellent one.

That is the view of Scott Fiztgerald anyway who was delighted to see his side battle back from a goal down twice to draw with fellow strugglers Leyton Orient. Though three points would have done his side the world of good, Fiztgerald believes that result was most definately a positive,

"I've yet to see a side score a good goal against us and yet again I was dissapointed with the goals we conceeded."

"A few weeks ago though we wouldn't have come back from that. It's important to keep going and keep running in the game until it's over, I don't want our progression rate to drop"

Fitzgerald also yet again stated that he was delighted with the performance of the players he has brought in recently paticularily Joey Keith who he singled out for praise,

"Joe just gives us a bit of quality. I know that he doesn't give us something flying up and down the wing but with the combination of him and Charlie (Ide) who is direct, it works well."

"he gives us so much quality from free kicks and dead balls."
