Fitzgerald encourages Osbourne

Scott Fitzgerald came out in praise of young defender Karleigh Osbourne today, stating that the players has been a key player for the Bees this season.

Osbourne, like so many others at Griffin Park this season has been thrown in at the deep end of the relegation battle but Scott Fitzgerald praised the 18 year old saying,

"I am very impressed with his character"

"Karleigh did well at Bradford, he felt as I did that he put in a disapointing performance against Northampton last week, but he bounced back"

"That shows what kind of player he is."

Meanwhile Fitzgerlad recieved more positive injury news today after Stuart Nelson and Matt Heywood played 90 minutes in a friendly on Tuesday,

"It was basically a fitness exercise designed to give players who either haven't played much recently or are returning from injury a run-out" said Alan Reeves who watched over the game.

"It was good news for those players and we are starting to get back some of the players who can be crucial to us."
