Off the back of the 1-0 win against Brighton at the weekend, Scott Fitgerald hailed the impact of his new signings at Brentford.

In the last two weeks the manager has praised Neil Shipperley for his excellent work, but this morning came out and stated his pleasure at the way the new players have intergrated themselves into the squad,

"We have freshened it up, and it is important that the new players were not here when we were on the really bad run," Fitzgerald said.

Still five points from safety, Scott admitted that the settling in period of players has gone well and he believes that Brentford are now reaping the rewards,

"They just came in, and there were no worries for them. The players are starting to believe in themselves."

"They should believe in themselves, too, because they are good players."
