After all the victory was Brentford's first since their win over Chesterfield and came of the back of a good result against Carlisle last week, the manager refused to get carried away however and praised his players efforts,
"I'm delighted," he said
"Not supprised as we've been threatening to score goals for a while now and today it's happened for us."
Fitzgerald went on to say,
"I don't know why it's happened today as the boys have putthe same amount of effort in every week. We've played a lot better than that and not won."
