With the end of the season upon us Brentford's squad has been bolstered today by the return of loanee Scott Fitzgerald who moved back from Walsall's Bescott Stadium a month ahead of his scheduled loan termination.

Fitzgerald had joined the struggling League One side on a three month loan deal beginning in February but had managed just one start and four appearances as a sub without scoring, so has been returned to be Bees with immediate effect.

The player is cirrently considering his options after becoming out of favour with Bees boss Martin Allen despite the clubs apparent 'goalscoring problems', it is unknown whether the player will be selected in this weekends squad, but with the amount of games the Bees have been playing in recent months Allen may favour a fresh approach in a bid to seal promotion.
