Fitzgerald to face FA Charge

Last updated : 05 March 2007 By Smallsy
Bees manager Scott Fitzgerald learnt this morning that he is to face a charge of improper conduct following his actions during last week's 1-1 draw with Bradford City.

The Rookie manager was upset with the sending off of Jo Kuffour and the awarding of a City penalty in the final five minutes. The charge relates to the fact that Fitzgerald went on the pitch at the end of the game and tried to speak to the referee which is strictly against Football Association guidelines.

Scott has until 15th of March to respond to the charges and if found guilty faces a fine and a touchline ban.
