Fitzgerald unhappy with refereeing decisions

Scott Fitzgerald was upset by a refereeing display which he felt forced Brentford to miss out on three vital points against Bradford at the weekend.

A win against the struggling Bantams would have meant the Bees bounced back perfectly from midweek defeat to Northampton but a 1-1 draw in a controversial game has left the Bees still well in the mire.

A late penalty gave Bradford a point and even worse for the bees manager was the prospect of losing his best player Jo Kuffour to a red card and a possible three game suspension. Fitzgerald hinted that he intends to appeal the ban and said,

"I thought Jo had his eyes on the ball all the time but I'll review it before making a decision."

On the Bradford equaliser Fitzgerald said,

"It was dubious. I wouldn't say Dyer dived but he played it well."
