Fitzgerald wants more of the same

Brentford manager Scott Fitzgeraled revealed the delight in the Brentford camp following their 3-1 away victory over Blackpool.

The bees who had beaten Blackpool 1-0 at Griffin Park on in the first game of the season have since seen themselves slump to the bottom of the table whilst Blackpool sit just outside the playoffs.

Two goals from Kuffour and a header from Frampton however game Brentford a suprise victory and Scott Fitzgerald believes this is just the lift that his side needed,

"After our draw last week, I spoke to the players about needing to build on it."

"I told them that we didn't suddenly become a bad team, but it would take hard work and lots of effort if we are to get out of this position."

Fitzgerald went on to say,

"I am convinced we can escape. That was the best result under my managership, however, we have played better this season and lost."
