Scott Fitzgerald and Brentford were disapointed to come off the pitch yesterday having gained nothing from their performance against Scunthorpe, those were the views of the manager himself who still believes their is fight in his club yet.

Having missed a first half penalty through Kevin O'Connor, Fitzgerald admits it 'was one of those days' but believes that his players can take heart from their battling spirit against a very good side,

"If you'd watched the game for long spells you wouldn't have known who was top and who was near the bottom. I didn't think there was much between the two sides." he said.

Fitzgerald revealed this his side expect very much the same difficulty of game against Bristol City next week and said,

"When we make mistakes we get punished for them and when other sides make mistakes we don't seem to be punishing them. It goes to show that it's a thin line between winning and losing games."
