Frampton signs contract extension

Big news in the World of Brentford this morning as Leroy Rosenior posted a very upbeat and happy message on the official website.

With Rosenior looking to bolster his squad after making no signings during the transfer window the boss was paticularily pleased this morning to announce that Andrew Frampton had agreed a contract extension to stay at the club.

"I'm delighted that Andrew Frampton has agreed to stay with the club long term as he has now signed a new three year contract with us."

Rosenior had put talks over Frampton's playing contract to one side after the defender had failed to agree a new deal over the Summer. The Bees boss has now been boosted and with only Kevin O'Connor's future now in doubt a real weight has been lifted off his shoulder.

Leroy said,

"He's pleased with what he's seen at the club this season and we were delighted with his performances up until his injury."

"We look forward to getting him back in the near future so he can continue his important role as one of our more senior players."
