Gills boss believes a draw was a fair result

With Leroy Rosenior stating his delight at yesterday point against Gillingham, away boss Ronnie Jepson admitted that a draw was probably the fair result after the Griffin Park encounter.

"We had chances in the second spell but you have to pay credit to Brentford. They worked really hard for their manager and made it very difficult for us to break them down" said Jepson after seeing his side come back from 1-0 behind against the ten men of Brentford.

"In the end, given the fact that two of our players failed to turn up with any boots, I suppose we would take the point.

"I've got every sympathy with their keeper because you don't want to see players sent off like that especially when they don't have another keeper on the bench, just as we didn't.

"But that's life in this division with small squads and you have to abide by the rules."
