Greg Dyke on his new managerial appointment

Cautious in handing out information related to the managerial candidates which Brentford were looking at, Bees chairman Greg Dyke told fans after the appointment of Leroy Rosenior today that the club have definately got the right man.

Stepping into big shoes this afternoon Rosenior signified his intent to take Brentford to the Championship and with plenty of remoddling and restructuring to come Greg Dyke told fans that the future for Brentford is safe in the hands of Brentford new manager,

"We were keen to appoint another young manager on his way up in the game and thats exactly what we have found."

Dyke was reluctant to let Allen leave but after a long search believes that the board have made a great appointment,

"We started our search for a new manager with a long list of possibilities, interviewed a number of them and were unanimous in choosing Leroy Rosenior as the right man to lead Brentford into the future. We were impressed by his knowledge of the game, his enthusiasm for attractive football and his overall attitude."

"We asked a number of experienced people in football about Leroy and fot nothing back but praise about him"

Dyke also said,

"With pre season training only a few weeks away we were keen to appoint a replacement for Martin Allen quickly and are delighted that we have found such a high caliber manager"
