Leory Rosenior today completed the signing of Matt Heywood on a full time basis. The defender had agreed a one month loan to Brentford from Bristol City during July and recent negotations have seen the bees sign Heywood on a permenant deal.

With only four first team central defenders available to the boss Rosenior felt that tying up the deal on a full time basis was earlier for the club and Heywood himself,

"He's signed a two year deal and taken a pay cut on what he was earning at Bristol"

"26 Year old Matt has maturity beyond his years and his presences will help with the development of our younger payers. He signed for less wages but believes that there is a lot that can be achieved to us."

The news was also broken this morning that former transfer target Georges Santos has signed with Brighton and young midfielder Karle Carder-Andrews, aged 17, has just signed his first professional contract with the club.
