Brentford manager Wally Downes has been boosted by the news that hard working midfield player, Eddie Hutchinson and reserve team goalkeeper Alan Julian have accepted new deals to stay at Griffin Park.

Hutchinson: Staying at Griffin Park
Hutchinson, signed from local non-league club, Ryman Premier Division Sutton United, three years ago, made 21 starts during the campaign just finished, and has agreed to stay for a further twelve months, while rookie keeper Julian has put pen to paper on a new two year deal.

Julian is currently understudy to the ever reliable Paul Smith and has only started three League games for the club this season, but had obviously done enough to impress his manager.

Brentford have also made offers to Kevin O'Connor and Matt Somner while Lee Fieldwick is expected to sign new terms later this week.

Leo Roget signed a new one-year contract last week.
