Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior has called back young striker Charlie Ide from his loan spell at Sutton United.

Charlie was halfway though the second month of a spell at the Nationwide League South side, where he has scored four goals. With Brentford facing Nottingham Forest in the Johnstone's Paint Trophy and at the weekend, Ide will be looking to force his way into the goal shy Brentford side in a bid to help the club aviod extending their poor run to twelve games without a win.

Rosenior said in his post match interview that he was dissapointed with the performance against Oldham at the weekend and will be looking for the club to bounce back during their two tough games in the next seven days.

As far as his striking options goes, Ide has returned after Leroy felt Clide Winjhard 'let himself down' during the defeat against Oldham,

"He was just not doing it, Clyde's an experienced lad but he kept on giving the ball away, you need your front runners to run about especially away from home but he just did not turn up."

Rosenior remained postive ahead of the Forest game saying,

"The lads trained well yesterday, they all showed hunger and all are pushing for a starting plac, but I keep re-iterating it's not just about being superb in training it's about going out and performing for the Club and the fans."

"We couldn't have asked for any better games today and on Saturday. People expect us to get nothing, go great - bring it on. People expect us to fall on our face, lets get up and have a great fight, let the youngsters show what they are made of."
