The 19-year old, agreed to stay at Brentford for a further two seasons with a view to an extra seasons option. Scoring seven goals in twenty four starts last season, Ide was nominated as one of the players of the season and seemed delighted to have had his future sorted.
He said,
"I'm pleased to sign this contract with the club and there was never any doubt that I would. I thoroughly enjoyed my first real run in the side and in looking forward to working with both Terry Butcher and Andy Scott I believe I've got many more goals in me, and can't wait to get back into the action"
