Injuries still hamper Brentford progess

After failing to seal any transfer deadline signings, despite 'money being available' Leroy Rosenior believes that his side will be significantly boosted when players return from injury.

'Boasting' one of the smallest squads in the League the Bees manager has used a mixture of youth and experienced pros in Brentford's unbeaten start to the League season,

"Oli Skulason and Andy Frampton are improving. Lloyd has begun training following his operation and we are monitoring his progress."

"Oli had a slight reaction on Thursday but he might train towards the end of the week. Andy is coming on well, the swelling is down but he'll still be out for a while yet"
said Rosenior.

The Brentford boss is clearly pleased with life at the moment however as he followed in by saying,

"But the young lads are doing absolutely fantastic and I can't ask for anymore. John (Mousinho) and Darius (Charles), they're having to learn the game very quickly. First team football is hard to drop them into, but we have no choice. Throwing them in at the deep end has been a success so far."
