Owusu rejoins the Bees by shaking hands on a two year contract at Griffin Park
As promised Martin Allen announced his new signing this afternoon, after confirming the sad news that club captain Stuart Talbot will be moving on to Boston within the next 48 hours Allen announced to the official website that the club had resigned Reading's Lloyd Owusu.

A two year deal was agreed this afternoon with tha player who is excitd to be back at Brentford but Allen warned,

"I'm well aware he was popular here before but I'm afraid that is of no interest to me. I am taking him because of what he can do not what he has done"

As with all his signings so far Allen added that Owusu would be 'an asset to the club'

In recent weeks excitement has been round fans surrounding the potential resigning of Owusu and Allen confirmed that he had always been looking to sign the former Sheffield Wednesday and Reading man,

"As soon as I heard about Lloyd's situation I was interested, He has an excellent goalscoring ratio to games played at this and other levels. The attacking area has obviously been a concern to me and this kind of player is brought into improve the situation"

Martin Allen did not confirm or deny speculation regarding other players such as Swindon's Sammy Igoe or Carl Asaba instead commenting,

"I see no point in speculation, I won't comment about any of my potential deals until they are done"

Despite this it is believed that Allen is looking to sign at least two more players, one a defender after releasing five players last month.
