Having played their final game at Griffin Park this season, Brentford were able to give out their player of the season award at half time on the pitch.

Unsuprisingly in a campaign of disapointment their was only one outstanding candidate for the award, striker and top scorer Jo Kuffour.

Having scored fourteen goals this season in fourty four games for the Bees Kuffour was not only the winner in a landslide victory but claimed the best goal haul of his career. Having been signed in the Summer the award market a metioric rise to 'heroic' status at his current club.

Charlie Ide came in second place having pushed on from his position in the youth squad last season and Nathan Abbey finished third.
