Scott Fitzgerald was delighted to announce the extension of Michael Leary's loan spell at Brentford and the player has stated his intentions of repaying his managers faith following the trust placed in the midfielder.

Leary will miss this weekend's clash with Blackpool but has vowed to return from suspension a better and more thoughtful player. He insists however that he will not take the aggression out of his game,

"The amount of tackles I make in a game means that I am bound to mis-time a few." said Leary,

"Prehaps I am a bit over zealous, and I have been told by the management to watch my tackling. Hopefully, the more I play, the better I will be able to time my tackles."

"I am mis-timing them at the moment, but I hope I can change that."
he continued.
