This morning Leroy Rosenior was in early at the Brentford training ground to bring fans the exciting news of a double signing.

With Brentford failing to win in their last three in the league this week sees a potentially momentus week for the club as they take on struggling Millwall before facing a revitalised Yeovil Town side the bees manager however had other adgendas on his mind this morning and said,

"I am absolutely delighted to report that we have signed Kevin O'Connor on a three year contract and Clyde Winjhard on a three month contract."

The signing of O'Connor is a major boost for the club after contract negotiations were finally completed between the player and the club. During the summer it seemed as if both O'Connor and Frampton were set to leave but not both have signed extensions to their current contracts and Rosenior clearly believes that both defenders have a big part to play in the future,

"It may be a contract extension but it's as important a deal as I was ever going to do this season. Kevin has been inspirational in as a part of Brentford football club since he signed and I look forward to working with him on a long term basis."

Winhjard has been on trial with the club for the past week and with the boss looking to extend his options the signing of the experienced striker not only boosts Brentford's attacking options but creates a real competition for places in attacking areas.
