With such a young side the bees manager insisted that 'having a go' at his players can be motivating sometimes although he insisted that he prefers to let the players show what they can do before dishing harsh words out,
"I had a 'go' at half-time - yes, I did use the word cowardly. Sometimes the players need to learn and it's a good word to use. But they then showed they are not and they are a brave bunch who do their best."
"I'm not the sort of manager who throws the tea cups round at half time but if we're going to reach our potential then sometimes that approach is necessary."
