Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior was fairly pleased with the outcome of last nights game, despite his side losing their first game of the season to their playoff conquerers of 2005/06.

Two excellent individual goals from Leon Knight subjected the bees to their first defeat of the season and left the club in 6th place going into the weekends game.

"I'm proud of the team. They went out and performed. You look at the two sides and their resources and we match them for long periods. It was an open game and in the end their quality came out. I thought we had a good chance going into half time and felt that we were going to get chances and that the key would be the next goal."

Praising Swansea striker Leon Knight, the bees boss said,

"His second was a fantastic finish. Sometime's you've just got to hand it to a player. In the end they had that little bit of extra quality that beat us."

On the end to his sides unbeaten run, Rosenior joked,

"I can wash my pants now! And I can change my suit and my tie! We've got to pick ourselves up and go again. All the cliches come out, but we were going to get beat at some point and now it's important to take this set back in the right way and go out and perform on Saturday"

"I've said to the lads that sometimes you learn a lot more form getting beat than a win. It's important they go away and have a think and some back on Thursday and learn from it."

Rosenior also spoke about new signing Sim Cox who joined up with the squad on Tuesday,

"I thought Simon Cox did well before tiring towards the end. He showed some good qualities and he can pass and he was strong in there"

"I've been pleased with the squad as a whole up to now and to lose to a side like that is no shame. But we have to learn form it and now it's a big test for the players and myself to react in the right way."
