Lovett: Farnboro Town bound!
Brentford defender Jay Lovett is to join Nationwide Conference club, Farnborough Town, when his contract runs out at the end of the month.

Lovett, who struggled to make an impact in the Bees' first team after joining the club from Dr Martens Premier Division outfit, Crawley Town, for £75,000 nearly three years ago, returns to the non-league scene, where he will be joined by another ex-Bee, Carl Hutchings, following the latter's release by Nationwide Third Division side, Leyton Orient.

The 25-year-old Lovett made just one appearance for Brentford last season, in the 2-1 defeat against Oldham Athletic in January, and had been loaned out to Nationwide Conference clubs Hereford United and Gravesend & Northfleet towards the end of the 2002/03 campaign.
