Talks have taken place between the board and the manager as to Allen's budget for the coming season and it seems as if, the boss is very unhappy at the cutbacks being made.
The club have yet to make this official as the website shows no mention of the latest developments. It appears that two semi final appearances under tight budgets have not been enough to inspire Allen to stay and try for another year.
Allen's next destination is unknown however it is believed that he is in talks with Tranmere and has been mentioned in the mix as the new Palace manager after Ian Dowie's departure.
