"The opening of the clubs new superstore and the aquasition of the Princess Royal are significant steps forward and will help, in the long term, the club to compete in the transfer market and untimately improve our chances of success"

In his column of the official website Allen spoke of high delight at hosting tonights Andy Scott Benefit Game,

"Tonight Leyton Orient are coming over for a special game, it is a very special occasion for Andy and it's a great oppertunity for the fans to recognise a good career and a good man."

The boss continued,

"To have your career cut short like he did is one hell of a shock and I have already brought tickets for my family to watch tonight's game."

On last night's 'open day' at Griffin Park Allen said,

"Lastly once again a big thank you to everybody who attended last night and also to the staff that worked to ensure a good night was had by all"
