Martin Allen spoke today on his three deadline day signings to the official website.

On Marcus Gayle the boss said,

"Marcus is a very experienced player, playing many games in top flight football and also internationally. He wanted to join the club and turned down several championship clubs to play for us. He's on a pay per play contract and if he does well we will talk about some kind of permanent deal in the summer"

On Jerome,

"He's 6'3, very quick and he's another one who i'm looking at potentially for next season. He had been signed recently by Ipswich from non league football, so he clearly posesses ability to apply himself at several different levels. With much hard work in training he could become a future international.

On Fitz he commented,

"On agreeing a small transfer fee for Scott, i bought a player who i have watched and admired for a number of years, he has played well for the club since he came here on loan and i'm hoping he can continue his excellent form into the end of the season. He believes he has a point to prove after not being played as often as he would have liked by Watford, at Brentford i believe he can certainly do that"
