Having just returned from injury, Brentford have loaned out young goalkeeper Clark Masters to AFC Wimbledon.

The month long deal will see Masters switch the League One relegation battling Bees for mid-table AFC who play their football in the Ryman League.

With first team goalkeeper Stuart Nelson also set to return from action soon and Nathan Abbey having his continued spell at the club extended by a month by month contract system, the ninteen year old will find it hard to break into the team but Fiztgerald said,

"Clark has performed admirably when called upon this season."

"With three main goalkeepers in the squad following Stuart's return from injury I felt it would be good for Clark to get more first team games under his belt, paticularily in front of the sort of crowds they will attract."

Masters has placed eleven times for the Bees this season and made his debut on the opening day against Blackpool, Fiztgerald continued,

"I feel it will be good to continue his learning process."
