Both struggling for form so far this season a 1-1 draw was hardly the result which either side needed but it ended up being a point each in the London derby at the Den this evening.

The game was an entertaining one and both sides will feel agrieved that they did not do enough to claim three vital points. Having parted company with their manager the home side Millwall added to their tally this season whilst Brentford struggling for form would have been greatful for a point to steady a ship endanger of travelling of course.

What the manager said?
Leroy Rosenior was one again full of praise for his young team,

"I asked them to 'grow up' this week and I think this performance showed great maturity."

"Obviously I'm disapointed not to win but we should be grateful for the point we claimed. The home side battled hard and they will probably be equally as satisfied as we were."

Rosenior also praised new signing Clyde Winjhard,

"I thought he did well."

"He gave all he had and if a player does that there is nothing more I can ask."

What the fans said?
With several hundred bees fans travelling to the New Den to watch their club some of them gave their views as they exited the stadium,

Lewis Molden a Millwall season ticket holder said,

"The game really showed that Millwall are struggling."

"A point was good because at least its something we can build on."

Thomas Stone a bees fan said,

"I think we probably should have won on the chances we created but with the rut we are in at the moment a point was an excellent reqard for a good performance."
