Brentford goalkeeper Stuart Nelson today revealed his delight at being able to pull on the clubs shirt again after an injury ravaged season.

The goalkeeper returned to play in the 2-2 draw against Oldham last week against Griffin Park and the 25-year old is hoping that his five month spell of injuries is now over.

Nelson said,

"It has been a long season for me, not only because of the injury but because I have not been able to help the team."

With ankle injury having ruled him out for so long the stopper is hoping that the ending to the season will bring improved fortunes,

"It has not been a great season for the team and to be sitting on the sidelines and not being able to give my all is what has hurt the most.

"There was nothing I could do. I was injured, and I could not help."
