According to the Nationwide site, Bees manager Wally Downes is looking to strengthen his squad in the close season.

Brentford boss Wally Downes is keen to sign two non-league stars to bolster his squad in the summer.

Teenage striker Matt Harrold of Harlow Town has already made one reserve appearance for the Bees and will get another chance to impress Downes in the second-string's game against Swindon on Thursday.

The Bees are also reported to be keen to sign Eastbourne Borough striker Scott Ramsay, who has scored 37 goals this season.

Downes told the Non-League Paper: " This will be the first time I've asked the board for any money but he (Ramsay)'s a prolific goalscorer, has a good all-round game and is an experienced player!"
