No excuses from Rosenior

With Brentford looking to bounce back from a bad run of results this week, Leroy Rosenior the bees manager took some time out to reflect on the sides poor result against Chesterfield at the weekend.

Describing the performance as 'naive' Rosenior hopes that Brentford can end their winless streak with a victory over Millwall tomorrow,

"We've got to do an awful lot better than that" said Rosenior,

"I'm not going to stand here and make excuses. We were poor. We didn't win any second balls. They basically gave up and that's not acceptable."

"Yes we had a lot of kids out there and I've spoken up for them in the past but that can only go on for so long. I can't be their dad all the time, they've got to grow up. And soon"

Rosenior seemed less than satisfied with the all round performance of this team,

"They've still got to run about and show the right mentality towards the game, even when we're down - they didn't do that. In previous games when things have been going against us they've worked really hard and sometimes we've got back into games that way"

"I just feel we let our supporters down today. They came along way for this and saw nothing. It's a long way to come to see a nothing performance."
