Brentford manager Leroy Rosenior has today reiterated his desire to sign new players ahead of the closure of the transfer window.

The boss yesterday blamed the congested fixture list for the need to bring in players but also for the lack of signings he has so far made with more time spent on game preparation than transfer discussions.

"I'm still hoping deals can go ahead,"

"Nothing is set in stone but we're making progress so hopefully we can tie some things up before the end of the day."

With the deadline at 12pm today Rosenior in recent weeks has spoke of his desire to bring in a central midfielder and another striker. Many names have been banded around but Rosenior has refused to name his specific targets.
