Oli travelled with Club physio Phil McLoughlin to Nottingham on Friday to see a specialist regarding the problem in his right arm.

He has apparently torn his tendon, and tendonitis. He's been given a cortisone injection and has been told to rest for a few days before he can see if he can play through the pain barrier.

If he feels OK after that, he will be able to play for the rest of the season and have keyhole surgery at the end of it.

However, if his condition deteriorate he will face an operation which requires around four months recovery time and therefore the Bees will have to rely on Smithy in goal.

He expects to see the specialist again in three weeks time.
