With the Bees travelling to Gillingham this weekend, the home side known that a win will drag them away from the relegation zone and will leave their opponents further in the mire.

Just seven games to save their season mean that Scott Fitzgerald side need a win to realistically keep their season alive. Goals have been hard to come by this term for the Bees with Kuffour the clubs stop scorer and right back Kevin O'Connor being the player with the second most goals weighed in.

Following a return from injury Lloyd Owusu thinks he and Kuffour can striker up a partnership decent enough to help save the bees,

"I have always had a 'little and large' combination in attack throughout my career, and it is good that we have a bit of an understanding."

On the clubs fight against relegation Owusu said,

""Everyone is buoyant," he insisted. "We are a strong, solid team, and we want to keep Brentford in this division."
