But Gary Hargraves has been quoted as saying that any key players will not be allowed to go at this time of the season. He says 'We've disposed of the players we want to lose and I think it would be foolish of us to let him go.'

Apparently, Rotherham came in with a 200K bid for Owusu. Owusu has apparently told reporters "This is the first I've heard of any Rotherham bid, but if they have tabled an offer to the club I expect I will get to hear of it in due course. But I'm not looking to go before the end of the season as I said, my main aim is to stay with Brentford and win the league. Because the Championship is well within our grasp."

He continued "my only concern at the moment is to help Brentford get promotion this season. Then, and only then, will I talk about my future".

Paul Evans was linked with Bradford according to reports, but has told reporters the following: "I said a couple of weeks ago that I wanted to stay at Brentford until the summer and I still feel that. I think in the next week we're going to see a lot of talk linking myself, Lloydie and Ivar with other clubs, but as far as I'm concerned, I'm definitely staying with Brentford until the end of the season."

With transfer deadline just a week away, Bees fans will have there fingers crossed that this is the case.
