We need YOUR help and full support with the following fund raising initiative, Without it our proud club could cease to exist. The Danger is that real.

Below are the details of a sponsored walk, We would like you to run a story about it and IT will be appreciated beyond words if you could if you could include the attached Sponsorship form so that your readers can get sponsorship and join in. This help is vital to the schemes chances of success.

To stave off this threat, Bees United the clubs supporters trust are determined to raise £1,000,000 by the end of June.

Brentford Independent Association of Supporters (BIAS) with the full co-operation of Brentford Football Club, Bees United and the clubs three fanzines, Beesotted, Hey Jude and Thorne in the side are organising a Community sponsored walk. The walk has two aims, to the raise much needed urgent funds and to highlight the clubs serious predicament.

The walk is taking place on Sunday 23rd June (starting at 11:30am).

The walk starts and finishes at Brentford Football Club's stadium in Braemar Road, Brentford. The route is about 8 miles long and is to Hounslow town Centre and back.

Brentford Football Club are asking the current playing staff to support the event and the clubs past players. Tommy Higginson and Doug Allder have already indicated that they will attend and we are positive that they are the first of many. We will also be inviting the clubs celebrity supporters and local politicians to join the event and to highlight the need to save Brentford FC.

After the walk there will be a BBQ and an auction at Griffin Park of Brentford FC memorabilia, which has, been donated by supporters.

We are asking local clubs charities and organisations to use this sponsored walk as a fund raising activity and to donate 10% of any money that they raise to BEES UNITED.
