Going into the penultimate game of the League One season with their future already decided is something which may be unfamiliar for Brentford Football Club.

Having battled relegation, followed by two successive playoff campaigns in the last three seasons, the clubs drop down to League Two was decided three weeks ago. Losing their manager Scott Fitzgerald during the same weekend Brentford are now desperately trying to find some stability and caretaker manager Barry Quin believes that can be found by backing the clubs buyant youth system.

"The youngsters are doing very well," said Quin,

"It isn't easy out there and it's a crash course for them but I'm pleased with how they are progressing, I know everyone is."

Quin also commented on the sending off of one of his youngsters Karleigh Osbourne saying,

"The sending off definately changed things (during the game). I know he didn't make contact as the referee made that clear, but he felt it was violent conduct."

He continued,

"He's a young player who's made a mistake and we'll feal with that and I'm not worried about that."
